INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Indian River County school children are back to their desks ready to take on a new school year, which means drivers need to be on the lookout for kids walking to school or catching their bus.
Law enforcement officers will be enforcing the speeds, signs and signals of all school zones, which go into effect each morning and afternoon as children arrive to and leave from school.
When approaching a school zone, drivers are encouraged to pay close attention to the school zone signs, signals and the school crossing guards.
