Francis I. “Frank” Selva, 74, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 5, 2015, at Indian River Medical Center.
He is survived by his two step-sons Raymond and Patrick Malloy; sister-in-law Jeanne R. (Heisler) Selva; two nieces, Hera C. Selva-Jones and Erica M. Selva; and six grandnieces and nephews all of whom mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Diane (Malloy) Selva and brother Alfred T. Selva.
Selva was born in Riverside, N.J. on April 5, 1941 to Alfred J. Selva and Marie (McNamee) Selva.
He received his BA degree from Rutgers University and his MA Degree from Rowan University. He was a dedicated reading specialist educator, initially teaching in Riverside and Delran eventually finishing out his career in the Evesham Twp. school district from where he retired in 1995 to the sunshine of Vero Beach.
Selva will be laid to rest with his parents at an interment service in the Lakeview Memorial Park, on route 130, in Cinnaminson, N.J. on Aug. 29, 2015 at 11a.m. Guests, especially former Lib-Lib folks who knew Frank, are asked to gather at the Lakeview office in advance of the service and encouraged to share their remembrances during the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the local Arthritis Foundation in Frank’s name.
