Robert Konkel, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 15, 2015, at Grace Rehabilitation of Vero Beach.
He is survived by his beloved companion, Nancy; son, Robert Konkel; daughters, Barbara Donovan and Leslie Briggs; and four grandchildren.
Konkel was born in Chicago, Ill. to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Konkel.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Konkel enjoyed his many years of work as a representative for the fabric industries in Manhattan. He was a devoted member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church and an avid gardener.
