Harry Lorne Burrows, Vero Beach

Harry Lorne Burrows of Vero Beach passed away.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Lorraine Wilson Burrows; three children, Jennifer Burrows of Fort Lauderdale, Andrea (Mark) Thurn of Vero Beach, and Jonathan Burrows of Oakland, Calif.; as well as three grandsons, Brent (Ashley) Thurn, Kyle (Allison) Thurn and Andrew Thurn, and a great-grandson Samuel Parker Thurn.

Burrows was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on Aug. 8, 1926, to Hilda and Harry Reeve Burrows of Nottingham, England and Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He graduated from McGill University with a Degree in Chemistry and owned and operated Vero Chemical Distributors, happily for many years.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed baseball, tennis, The New York Times crossword puzzle, and work, not necessarily in that order.

A private service was held by the family. An online guestbook may be signed at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
