VERO BEACH — A home owner in the Castaway Cove community woke up around 5 a.m. Monday to find an intruder in his bedroom.
After confronting the burglar he fled the house in an unknown direction, according to Vero Beach Police. The suspect is described as a dark complexion male in his 20’s, around 5-foot 10-inches, 160 pounds, with a short Afro-style haircut, wearing a T-shirt and shorts.
The victim’s cell phone was the only thing that appeared to be stolen.
