INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The local Indian River County Chamber of Commerce will host the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at a lunch on Aug. 13.
Clark Thomason will be guest speaker. Thomason will discuss how the U.S. Chamber is focusing its resources and expertise to advance a jobs, growth and opportunity agenda, a series of policy priorities that will help revitalize the American economy, create jobs, spur growth, and lift incomes.

Our Chamber has a long history of supporting the U.S. Chamber priorities and we are pleased to bring this program to our community.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.
Thomason is a manager of the Southeastern Region for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Thomason supports the congressional and public affairs for eight southeastern states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The lunch will be held at the Courthouse Executive Center at 2145 14th Avenue in downtown Vero Beach. Corporate sponsor for the event is the Press Journal and TC Palm.
