VERO BEACH — Authorities have stopped traffic around 20th Place and 10th Avenue in Vero Beach due to a gas leak in the area, the Vero Beach Police Department confirmed.
A group of people are being kept inside Wells Fargo at the intersection of 20th Place and 10th Avenue as the fire department assesses the situation. Traffic is being blocked at 20th Street and 20th Place at 10th and 9th Avenue. The bank will not be open at this time.
A representative from the gas company is now on scene.
