Frank Joseph Genovese Jr., 79, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 4, 2015.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Linda Genovese, who cared for him tirelessly throughout his illness; children Robin, Frand (Lori), Nadine (Rick) Steven (Michele), Francesca (Tim), and Victoria; sister Elaine (Len); six grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Branden, Amelia, Ashley and Ricky.
Genovese was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Aug. 13, 1935. He was an accomplished artist and craftsman enjoying hobbies such as oil painting, watercolors, model making and world history. His career in marketing and advertising spanned over 50 years. He moved to Vero Beach with his wife and two youngest daughters in 1998 and retired in 2005. During his retirement he enjoyed his hobbies, home improvement projects and spending time with his loving family. He left a lasting impact on all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Frank’s life in his hometown of Brooklyn, N.Y. on Sept. 12, at Green-Wood Cemetery’s historic landmark chapel.
