SEBASTIAN — HALO Rescue and a private donor have teamed up to get 30 of the overlooked rescues out of the shelter and into a home. The adoption fees for these 30 dogs will be sponsored and waived to adopters.
Nothing says “welcome home” like a wagging tail and warm brown eyes. The community has an opportunity to help these great dogs get the loving home they deserve and enable HALO to take in more dogs, decreasing euthanasia in Indian River County.
Dogs that are part of the program are listed both on HALO’s Facebook page and at www.halorescuefl.org on the scroll at the top. Applications can be sent in through Aug. 9 to halonokillrescue@gmail.com.
