Laura J. Napier, 72, of Sebastian, passed away on July 14, 2015, at the Broadmoor Assisted Living Community in Fort Pierce.
She is survived by her brother Larry Napier (Elaine) of Sebastian; sisters Gloria Jean Napier of Huntington, W.Va. and Mary Margaret Malott of Chesapeake, Va.; several nieces and nephews and their children and her beloved black lab, Ginger.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel Peters and a brother-in-law, Bret Malott.
Napier was born in Huntington, W.Va., and lived in Sebastian since 2010 coming from Corte Madera, Calif.
She was a licensed medical technician as well as a licensed pilot.
She was a graduate of Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2015 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. Interment will be in California.
