Charles Leon Washington, 42, of Gifford, passed away on July 11, 2015.

He is survived by his faithful and devoted wife Michell Washington; sons Keenon Washington, Tyler Washington, Tyrrell Washington and Kendrick Washington; daughter Cassidy Stinson; father Charles (Clynell) Washington Sr.; sister Lynn (Clifford) Jones; and brothers Derrick (Tara) Jackson, Eric (Senait) Jackson, Kenyatta (Kiti) Jackson, Jakari (Dionn) Jackson and Elton (Lonetta) Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his mother Willie Mae Chase Washington; brothers Daron Washington, Sr. and Vann Washington, Sr.; and niece Stefan Cuyler.

Washington was born to Charles Leon Washington Sr. and the late Willie Mae Chase Washington in Thomasville, Ga., on June 12, 1973.

He graduated from Jefferson County High School, in Monticello, Fla., in 1991. He played football and basketball. Washington furthered his education at West Virginia University, where he also played football. He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 3950 Old Dixie Hwy, Vero Beach, FL. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church, 4250 38th Avenue, Gifford, FL. Burial will immediately follow the service at the Gifford Cemetery.

Stone Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
