FELLSMERE — The Fellsmere Police Department is searching for two suspects who were involved in an armed robbery of a resident at Sonrise Villas Apartments Thursday night.
The suspects, using a firearm, robbed the resident of his wallet, containing around $200, and a cell phone, according to Fellsmere Police Chief Keith Touchberry. The incident happened around 9 p.m.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Units helped with the search, but neither suspect was located, according to authorities. There is no description of the suspects at this time. It is an ongoing investigation.
