Alice Barbara Rose, 73, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 11, 2015.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, George H. Rose, Jr. of Vero Beach; son Robert (Kay) H. Brumell, III of Jacksonville; sister Carol (Jim) Pinney Robertson of Port St. Lucie; brother Vincent (Jackie) E. Caporale, Jr. of Vero Beach and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Richard L. Brumell.
Rose was born in Livington, N.J., to the late Vincent E. and Lucille C.(nee Gangi) Caporale. She and her husband George moved to Vero Beach 20 years ago from Melbourne, Fla.
She was of the Catholic faith. Rose was a past director and member of the Italian American Civic Association in Vero Beach. She had a great love of cats, music and enjoyed bowling. She and her sister both were certified nurses aides and did hospital volunteer work.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a prayer service beginning at 2 p.m.
