Eleanor Hillyard Howard, 88, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 8, 2015, at VNA Hospice House.
She is survived by her sons Deward E. Howard, Jr. (Susan), and Terry E. Howard (Betty); daughter Sharyn Gail Fisher; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Deward Edward Howard, Sr.
Howard was born in For Pierce and moved to Vero Beach when she married.
She was a retiree of Southern Bell and volunteered at Indian River Medical Center. She was a member of the Communications Workers of America, Scottish Society of the Treasure Coast and Daughters of the American Revolution.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 10 to 11AM with a service following at 11AM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
The family suggests memorials be made to VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Ln, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
