Deirdre “Dee” P. Creal, 73, of John’s Island in Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2015.
Creal was the beloved wife of the late James B. Creal, former President of the American Automobile Association.
She was born in Queens, N.Y. to the late Gilbert and Marguerite Phillips and was raised in Rockville Centre, N.Y. where her love of the beach began.
In 1976, Creal married Jim Creal and moved to Arlington, Va. In the early 90s, they moved full time to John’s Island, Vero Beach.
She is the sister of the late Donald T. Phillips, aunt of the late James B. Phillips, William B. Phillips and Donna M. Raleigh, and six grand-nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
