Norman Goodman, 91, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 1, 2015.
He is survived by his second wife, Lisa, a true gift for the last 10 years of his life; his three daughters, Fern, Marla, Gloria; his son-law Dave; grandchildren Rachael and Corey; and great-grandchild Hayley.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 54 years, Selma, his first grandson, Stuart Studenberg and his brother Sydney.
The July 1st sky housed a Capricorn full moon. It was only fitting that Goodman (a true Capricorn) would pass on this night to be with Selma, his first wife of 54 years. At 91 years young, Goodman passed peacefully at home under superb hospice care, exactly as he predicted he would.
Born in Detroit, his love for cars became his career. He drove them, fixed them, and he sold them. He served in the U.S. Navy, taught Tai Chi and was an avid bridge player.
A private service for the family is being held in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to VNA of the Treasure Coast, 1110 35th Ln, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with arrangements.
