Cynthia Parker, 55, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 28, 2015, at VNA Hospice House.
She is survived by her husband Martin Parker of Holland, Mich; son Marlon Ausby of Tampa; daughter Devri Anderson of Vero Beach; brothers Earl Ausby of Charleston, S.C., and Steven Ausby of Vero Beach; sisters Betty Williams of Gifford, Evelena Ausby of Atlanta, Ga., Paula Dudley of Wabasso, Fla., and Victoria McCloud of Lantana, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Brown Ausby and father, Claude Ausby, Jr.
Parker was born on July 23, 1959 in Vero Beach, a native of Indian River County. She attended the public schools of Indian River County and was a graduate of Vero Beach High School Class of 1977.
She was employed in the law enforcement industry as a receptionist. Parker enjoyed visiting friends, and did a lot of traveling by way of reading books. Her favorite TV stations were animal planet and the cooking channels.
Visitation will be held Friday July 3, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 4, 2015 at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Vero Beach. Burial will follow at Gifford Cemetery.
