INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Veterans Council of Indian River County is hosting a Veterans Outreach Golf Tournament on July 11, 2015 at Sandridge Golf Course which is located at 5300 73rd St., Vero Beach.
The event includes 18 holes of golf, cart, awards, and lunch immediately following for only $50 per golfer. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. It will be a Scramble format.
Curtis Paulisin, Veterans Council 1st Vice President said, “We look forward to having a fun day supporting local veterans; all golfers are invited to participate.” Also, there are sponsorship opportunities which will offset the costs of the tournament. Additional proceeds will be used to provide outreach and support to veterans from Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring freedom and Operation Iraqi freedom.

The Veterans Council of Indian River County assists local veterans and their families by providing transportation to VA medical facilities, helping qualified veterans with emergency basic living expenses, and supporting returning veterans as they transition to civilian life.
