Lorraine J. Schumacher, 90, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 28, 2015, at her residence.
She is survived by her friend, Glen Gillespie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Niles Schumacher.
Schumacher was born in Chicago, Ill., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 40 years coming from Philadelphia, Penn.
She was the owner and operator of Tasty Freeze Ice Cream in Chicago, Ill. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Vero Beach and also attended the Evening Circle as well.
A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church 1150 41st Avenue Vero Beach, FL 32960.
