M. Frances “Frankie” Turcotte, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 21, 2015.
She was the beloved wife of Leo P. Turcotte (d. 2008) and devoted mother of four, Christopher Turcotte, Martha Handel, Francine Penney, and David Turcotte. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Turcotte was born in Bristol, Conn., on June 4,1926, and was a graduate of Bristol Central High School. Upon graduation she was employed as a bank teller at The Bristol Bank and Trust for eight years.
She and “Buck” enjoyed 56 years of marriage, raising their family in Bristol, Conn., and Eastham, Mass. Upon Leo’s retirement, they were long-time residents of Cape Cod and Vero Beach and leave behind fond memories, many laughs, with multitudinous friends and extended family.
The couple was in fellowship at First Church of God Vero Beach where they developed their growth in Christianity.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family on Cape Cod. Arrangements are under the directions of Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial donations can be made to VNA/Hospice Treasure Coast. A guest book may be signed at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
