Dorothy D. Martin, 97, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 20, 2015, at her home.
She is survived by her husband Bernard J. Martin of Vero Beach; and sons Craig Magher, Robert Magher and Frank Magher.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Magher.
Martin was born in Newark, N.J., to the late Robert and Margaret (nee Bloomer) Donnelly. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the John’s Island Club and Oak Harbor Club of Vero Beach, and the University Club in New York. She was also a long-time member of the Montclair Golf Club (No. M6) in Montclair, N.J.
In addition to her loving nature “Dee,” “Moms,” “Mom,” “Nana,” “Deezy Darling,” will be remembered by her beloved family and friends for her outstanding style, culinary, dancing, bridge and travel prowess.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Lighthouse International for the Blind, 111 East 59th Street, New York, New York 10022-1202 or VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
