Officer clocks motorcyclists going 75, 135 mph down U.S. 1

SEBASTIAN — A motorcyclist was arrested for reckless driving after an officer observed him weaving in and out of traffic and clocked him going around 75 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to the arrest affidavit.

A second motorcyclist was estimated going around 135 miles per hour when he sped away from the same officer. The officer did not catch up to the motorcyclist and no description was provided.

The two drivers were first seen driving recklessly east on Sebastian Boulevard and then south on U.S. 1, according to the official report.

Ryan Henderson, 21, of the 8000 block of 140th Street in Sebastian, now faces one count of reckless driving. He did not give police any information regarding the identity of the second motorcycle driver.

Henderson was released on $500 bond.
