Robert ‘Bob’ James Mazzeo Sr., 78, formerly of Vero Beach

Robert ‘Bob’ James Mazzeo Sr., 78, formerly of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully after a period of declining health.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph (Barbara) of Emerson, N.J.; his sister Phyllis O’Brien of Vero Beach; Barbara Mazzeo of Hendersonville, N.C., mother of their three children; daughter Lisa Edney (Michael) of Hendersonville, N.C.; son Robert Mazzeo, Jr. (Tina) of Haines City, Fla.; and daughter Sandra Morrow (Jason) of Hendersonville, N.C.; three grandchildren, Hallie Mazzeo, Mitch Edney, and Megan Edney; and several nieces and nephews.

Mazzeo started his career in Vero Beach with the United States Post Office and delivered mail until he transferred to Hendersonville, N.C. in 1981. He was very loyal and many that lived on his route still ask about him. He was also an avid LA Dodgers fan and spent many years at Holman Stadium.
