Jack Darago, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 5, 2015, at Health South in Vero Beach.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy; a brother, Vincent; sister-in-law, Mary Kenney; and his dog, Nikki.
Born in New Brunswick, N.J., he became a Ham Operator at the age of 16. Darago was an electrical engineer and worked for Lockheed Martin for 29 years until his retirement. After that, he relocated to South Florida where he worked for Motorola for five years. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for the last five years coming from Suntree, Fla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 500 Iris Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32963.
