VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Veterans Parade Committee enthusiastically invites the public to participate in the first annual veterans parade which will be held on Friday July 3, 2015. This year, the parade will begin at 7 p.m. when the air is cooler, and will proceed on Ocean Drive to Sexton Plaza, west one block on Beachland Blvd. and return via Cardinal Drive.
The one mile route will take approximately one hour and thousands are expected to help kick off Vero’s Fourth of July celebration.
Parade participants will begin lining up at 5 p.m. Positions in the parade will be determined by military branch and will be assigned upon entry of a float, marching group, car, or individuals that wish to walk in the parade. A car or float will be provided to those who wish to participate but do not have access to a vehicle.
