INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Men are invited to attend to the 6th Annual “Man-up” event on Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Church of God by Faith, 8560 58th Avenue, Wabasso, FL 32970. The event is sponsored by Indian River County HIV/AIDS Awareness Network and Florida Department of Health in Indian River County.
“By participating in this important event, men in our community can learn about their health and gain knowledge about their spiritual, and emotional well-being,” said John May, HIV Outreach Coordinator for Florida Department of Health in Indian River County.
This free event will provide attendees with information regarding bullying, domestic violence, and health. Free HIV and STD testing will be provided, as well as free PSA screenings by the Indian River Medical Center and blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring.
Sponsors are providing free breakfast and lunch to participants.
