INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The missing 72-year-old man has been located.
Authorities were looking for Jack Guzik, 72, of Vero Beach. Deputies responded to Guzik’s home in the 500 block of 32nd Court SW at the request of his son. According to his son, Guzik is in the early stages of dementia and has recently reported being lost in traffic.
He was located by the Florida Highway Patrol on Interstate 75 heading eastbound at mile marker 35, according to authorities.
Guzik was possibly driving his black 2004 Chevy Tahoe bearing Florida tag K565GA. A silver alert had been issued.
