VERO BEACH — Undercover officers investigating reports of drug-dealing in a local bar have nabbed a 35-year-old Vero man for selling cocaine in the men’s restroom of a bar on Old Dixie Highway.

Johnny Ray Peacock, who was taken into custody last Friday afternoon, was charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony sale of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, according to the Sheriff’s Office booking records, and is being held in lieu of $35,500 bond.

“After a month long investigation regarding a report of possible cocaine sales being conducted inside a local drinking establishment, on May 22, Vero Beach Police Department Detectives conducted an undercover operation at Uncle Dom’s Bar (1436 Old Dixie Hwy),” a Vero Beach Police Department press release stated.
