INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Several local college students will head back to class in the fall with money for school thanks to the Treasure Coast Gator Club.
On May 5, 19 deserving undergraduates were each awarded a $1500 scholarship during the 2015 Gator Toast awards banquet held at the Moorings Club in Vero Beach.
Event sponsors included: The George E. Warren Corporation, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Block, Jennifer Watson, Florida Power and Light, Collins, Brown, Barkett, Garavaglia & Lawn, Chartered, Riverside Café, Bob and Sandy Brackett, Harbor Community Bank, Piper Aircraft, Valley National Bank, PNC Wealth Management, Squared Studio Design and 93.7 The Breeze and Hamp Elliot. Individual scholarship sponsors included: The Hardee Family Foundation with Robbi and Mark Peirce, AA Block Endowment, Fritz Addison, Jennifer Watson, Linda and Brantley Schirard, Andrew Schmeer Foundation, Lucy Kranker and Shannon Crittenden Pohl.
