Gail June Weller, 73, of Vero Beach, formerly of Warren, N.J., passed away on May 17, 2015, at the VNA Hospice House.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Guido Weller of Vero Beach; son Ronald Weller (Giovanna) of Meriden, Conn.; daughter Robin Albers (Christopher) of Hampton, N.J.; and by her beloved and cherished granddaughter Elizabeth Weller; her nieces Naomi Hubler of Midlothian, Texas, Leslie DiGiovanni of Sebastian; and by her nephew Scott Thomas of Barefoot Bay.
Born in Union, N.J. in 1942, Weller was a remarkable woman. After graduating from Union High School, she was admitted to UCLA on a scholarship but was unable to attend. Despite this setback, Weller was a pioneer in the construction industry, becoming a General Partner in a New Jersey commercial construction firm.
She was a tireless volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board in Plainfield, N.J.
