INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Arc of Indian River County is appreciative to the Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program, Inc., and the Philanthropy Committee, for awarding them a $14,357 grant which will allow them to upgrade their current vehicles.
“Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program is pleased to partner with The Arc, of Indian River County to support their many necessary programs assisting the emotionally and physically challenged residents of Indian River County. Specifically, our grant this year provides The Arc of Indian River County the required 10 percent funding to enable them to purchase three vehicles for the transport of their clients to and from their various daily activities,” said Dale Jacobs, philanthropy team leader.
Executive Director Chuck Bradley said, “Most non-profit organization struggle on a daily basis to make ends meet. Grants awarded by caring organizations like Grand Harbor Community Outreach, and the Philanthropy Committee, are what make it possible for us to continue striving to provide the very best services for our most vulnerable citizens.
