Emma Parkes, 102, of Vero Beach, passed away.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Heinig; long time friend Bob McBride; daughter-in-law Barbara Henry; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Allan Henry, and husbands Irvin Henry (married 50 years) and George Parkes (married 25 years).
Parkes was a resident of Vero Beach for more than 35 years.
She had a dance studio for 25 years teaching tap, ballet, baton and acrobatics.
The family wishes to thank the residents and staff at Isles of Vero for 11 wonderful years and VNA Hospice for providing outstanding compassionate care.
