Three vehicle crash sends 5 to area hospitals

SEBASTIAN — A three vehicle crash closed US 1 southbound at Schumann Drive Wednesday afternoon.

The crash did not cause life threatening injuries, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. It sent five people to area hospitals, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
