Monica Rangel, 44, of Sebastian, passed away on May 1, 2015.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years Luis Enrique Rangel; son Ricardo Rangel; sisters Isabel Pena of California, Maribel Luna of North Carolina, Elvira Mendez Vaca of Mexico, Patricia Mendez of Mexico, and Teresa Mendez Milan of Port St. Lucie.
Rangel was born in Mexico in 1971, daughter of Rodrigo and Maria De Jesus Mendez.
She moved to Florida in 1993, and has been a resident of Sebastian for 10 years.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday May 6, 2015 and Thursday May 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4 p.m., Thursday May 7, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
