Lillian Gribble, 95, formerly of Vero Beach

Lillian Gribble, 95, formerly of Vero Beach, passed away in Stuart on April 24, 2015.

She is survived by her son Ronald M. (Sheryl) Gribble of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter Rhea Marie (Bob Erickson) Cemer of Port St. Lucie; grandchildren Jeffrey K. (Angela) Gribble and Stacey Lynn (John) Beck; and great-grandchildren, J.T., Christian, Hunter, and Benjamin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd P. Gribble, brother, Lloyd Morgan, and sister, Alma DeVane.

Gribble was born in Valdosta, Ga., and came to Fort Pierce in 1962 from Vero Beach.

She was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Lawnwood Regional Medical Center Auxillary, Martha’s Circle at Indian River Presbyterian Church, an avid bridge player, Nature’s Way Gym life time member and billboard Cover Girl, and a founding member of the Sandy Shoes Steppers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lucie County Humane Society, P. O. Box 14199, Fort Pierce, FL 34979. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center, Port St. Lucie. A reception will follow at Haisley Funeral Home.
