Cheryl A. Rogers, 65, of Sebastian, passed away on April 30, 2015, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughters Kerri Rogers, Erin Morton and Jennifer Rogers; grandchildren Damon Morton, Jayda Masesa and Aisha Masesa; and sister Barbara Valentino.
She was born in Westerly, R.I., and lived in Sebastian coming from Bethel, Conn., in 2001. She received her Master’s Degree from Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, Conn., and was a founding teacher at St. Peter’s Acadamy, Vero Beach, where she has taught for more than 10 years. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, with a prayer service at 2:30 p.m. A guest book is available at www.strunkfuneralhome.com.
