INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce economic development office is hosting a free tour of the CVS Distribution Center on Thursday morning, April 23, 2015. Tour participants will see how thousands of items are unpacked, re-packed and distributed daily to CVS retail stores throughout the south Florida area.
Participants will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Chamber building, located at 1216 21st Street in Vero Beach, for a brief overview of the manufacturing industry in Indian River County.
Transportation will be provided to the CVS facility located on 98th Avenue and SR60, returning to the Chamber building at 11:30 a.m. Closed-toed flat shoes are required, no sandals, flip-flops or high-heels are permitted. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

The Chamber’s economic development office organizes industry tours to familiarize local residents with the County’s industrial base and the positive impact these companies have on the local economy.
