Reverend Curt P. Brotherton, formerly of Sebastian, passed away on April 11, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of Melbourne; daughter Patti Barr (Brian) of Hendersonville, N.C.; son Curtis W. Brotherton (Mary) of Micco; stepchildren Michael Herd (Christina) of Zephyrhills, Fla., Cathy Herd of Anchorage, Alaska, Bill Olsen of Panama City, Fla., and Beth Emerson of Anniston, Ala.; three grandsons, three granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean.
Brotherton and his late wife “BJ,” Betty Jean, were founding members of St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Sebastian.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 1830 South Babcock Street, Melbourne, on Friday, April 17, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32901; brownliemaxwell.com.
