Laura Viola Lenardt, 94, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 10, 2015, at VNA Hospice House.
She is survived by her daughters Lois Thorpe, and fiancé, Bob Stone of Peach Tree City, Ga., and Gail Thomas of Vero Beach; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Helmut C. Lenardt, in 2001.
Lenardt was born March 20, 1921 in Marlette, Mich., to Emil and Alma Gisch. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1970, coming from Detroit, Mich.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with LC Campbell officiating.
