Silver Tones Chorus Spring concert scheduled for April 23

VERO BEACH — The Silver Tones Chorus of the Senior Resource Association will perform a spring “Music and Tea in the Garden” concert at the First Presbyterian Church in the McAfee Hall at 520 Royal Palm Blvd. in Vero Beach on April 23, at 7 p.m.

The concert will feature “garden variety” favorites including “Que Sera Sera,” “Come On Get Happy,” “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree” and many others. The Silver Tones will be joined by guest soloist, Soprano, Emily Dreher.

The event is open to the public and tickets are $20 per person. Funds raised will support the programs and services of the Senior Resource Association.

The 80-member senior chorus group is sponsored by the Leo and Peggy Pierce Family Foundation and is conducted by Jacob Craig, current director of music and arts at the First Presbyterian Church.

The Silver Tones Chorus is a Senior Resource Association program that began in 2007. It was created to give older adults a fun and meaningful musical outlet that encourages their unique talents, and provides a service to our community.
