John “Johnny” Garland Walker, Jr., 48, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 6, 2015, at VNA Hospice House.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Julie Walker; sons Johnny Walker III, Bradley Walker, and Ryan Walker, all of Vero Beach; mother Diane Walker; and brothers Michael (Anne) Walker, of Fort Pierce, Bruce (Katie) Walker, of Chicago, Ill., and Kevin Walker, of Vero Beach.
He was preceded in death by his father John Garland Walker, Sr., and sister Linda Bennett.
Walker was s born in Newport News, Va., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 35 years coming from Newport News. He was a 1985 graduate of Vero Beach High School. He served in the U.S. Army.
Walker was the owner and operator of Johnny Walker Tile and Marble for 20 years in Vero Beach. He was previous owner of 3 J’s Bait and Tackle where he made custom fishing rods and reels. His passions were being on the water, fishing, boating and camping, but family was always the first love in his life.
