VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the McKee Botanical Garden, 350 U.S. 1 in Vero Beach, for its annual meeting and election of officers.
The program features Sara Pedreira, R.N., discussing Hospice – what it is, and what it does for many people in the Vero Beach area. Pedreira is the liaison between the Visiting Nurses Association of the Treasure Coast and Hospice, and she has been serving in the healthcare field for nearly 20 years.
Hospice has made a positive impact on patients and families by enriching end of life through quality, purpose and comfort.
