Ronald L. Scott, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 26, 2015.
He is survived by his wife C. Patricia “Pat” Scott; son Michael R. Scott of Oxford, Mich.; daughter Lorilyn F. Tabor of Lapeer, Mich.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was born Jan. 14, 1926 in Minedosa, Manitoba, Canada, and moved to Vero Beach in 1980, coming from Oxford, Mich.
Scott was a United States Army veteran of WWII.
He had earned his Bachelor’s degree.
He worked as public relations manager for General Motors, Michigan, and retired from there in 1981.
Scott was a volunteer EMT/Shift Captain for the Indian River County Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
Lowther Cremation Service of Vero Beach is entrusted with arrangements.
