Participants ran along a fog-shrouded Ocean Drive last Saturday, racing in A Healthier Me 5K to benefit the Phil Petersen Memorial Center for Diabetes & Health.
A Healthier Me, a family owned and operated health and fitness studio in Sebastian, organized the event that ended with a mini-health expo in the courtyard of the Portales de Vero building, to raise awareness about diabetes and improve the lives of those suffering from the disease.
