Lena Crandall, 96, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2015, surrounded by her family at her home.
She is survived by her four children she and her husband Billy raised in Annandale, Va.: Jeanne Stephenson of McDonough, Ga., Joni Hedrick of Vero Beach, Milton Crandall, Jr. (Diana) of Roanoke, Va., and Diane McClung (Irby) of Vero Beach; and a very special nephew J. Emory Crandall of Vero Beach; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years Milton “Billy” Crandall.
Crandall was born in Miami, Fla., the daughter of the late Pearl and Thomas Bilyard. Crandall was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Vero Beach for the past six years and a long-time member of the Ilda Adventist Church in Fairfax, Va.
She went to be with her savior on Sunday, March 22.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, and a Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.
