Jonathan Lance Threewitts, 17, Vero Beach

Jonathan Lance Threewitts, 17, of Vero Beach, passed away in Vero Beach.

He is survived by his mother Crystal Johnson, of West Palm Beach; sister Anna Crystal Threewitts, of Vero Beach; maternal grandparents Princess Rose and George Johnson, of Port St. Lucie and New York; paternal grandmother Ellen Threewitts, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; aunts Monique Johnson, of N.Y., Cherie Ann Johnson, of Port St Lucie, Dawn Johnson, of New York; uncle George D. Johnson Jr., of Port St Lucie; and girlfriend Samantha Tiernan, of Vero Beach.

Threewitts was born in West Palm Beach, and had been a lifelong resident of Florida. He attended Vero Beach High School where he was on the honor roll and a member of the wrestling team and junior varsity football teams. He also volunteered as a manager for the girls’ softball team.

He was enrolled in the nursing program at Vero Beach High School and had wanted to be a neurosurgeon. Threewitts had attended Mariposa Elementary School in Port St Lucie, Murdock Middle School in Port Charlotte, Fla., and South Port High School, in Port St Lucie.

Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Pavilion at Epic Missions 6025 12th Street Vero Beach, FL 32966. Friends may visit the online guest book at www.aycock-hillcrest.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
