Donald Francis Dorst, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 19, 2015.
He is survived by his daughter Alice Fryar; three sons, John, Raymond and Michael Dorst; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Dorst was a native of Manhattan, N.Y., and he was the son of the late John and Louise Dorst. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War where he was the recipient of the Bronze Star. After retiring from the Air Force he became a geography teacher for 15 years.
A time of gathering will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to follow at 6 p.m. The family suggest memorials be made to VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
