SEBASTIAN — H.A.L.O. Rescue is celebrating the grand opening of H.A.L.O.’s Rescued Treasures on Friday, March 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The location of the store is 1545 US 1 in Sebastian. The evening will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by refreshments, door prizes, a grand prize drawing for a $100 H.A.L.O. Thrift Store gift certificate and of course, shopping.
Beginning Saturday, March 21, H.A.L.O.’s Rescued Treasures and donation drop-off center will be open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations can be brought anytime during hours open and pick ups can be arranged for furniture.
According to Jacque Petrone, H.A.L.O.’s Executive Director, “Our hope is that the Thrift-tique will create a unique shopping destination and the community’s choice when it comes to selecting where to donate their almost new clothing, furniture, and household goods. In turn, the store will provide an even stronger foundation for no kill rescue with all proceeds going towards H.A.L.O.’s Field of Dreams, a no kill sanctuary for Indian River County.”
H.A.L.O.’s Rescued Treasures will provide useful, donated furniture, designer clothing, household items, electronics, collectibles, jewelry, antiques, books and more to the public at affordable prices.
