Founded in 1991, the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin, comprised of some of Russia’s finest young string players, many under 30 years old, has carved a niche for itself under the creative baton of its founder and music director Misha Rachlevsky.

This orchestra has been critically acclaimed time and again as one of the finest string ensembles in Russia, which suggests that it is arguably one of the best in the world. Swedish newspaper reviewer Andresen Dagbladet lauded, “Russia is popularly known for two things – its rockets and its violins. The Chamber Orchestra Kremlin is renowned for the latter, but their music will take you soaring as if somehow there is a connection to the former.”

While conducting, Rachlevsky has his orchestra perfectly executing his every demand, usually with his eyes closed, which helps to connect with his ensemble on a level that leaves the audience utterly stunned.
