Luck with no rain at Downtown St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The luck of the Irish carried the day Saturday, with rains holding off during the sixth annual Indian River County St. Patrick’s Day Parade along 14th Avenue in Downtown Vero Beach.

The parade was led by Grand Marshal Father John Morrissey, a native of the Emerald Isle and now Pastor of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.

‘Keeping the Tradition Alive,” marchers and viewers alike donned their green in a display of Irish pride, and later celebrated with a post-parade party at the Vero Beach Elks Lodge.
